Newbie Help Required (VISTA so help files unsupported)

The MSTS 1 Route Editor can be a beast to use, but it's capable of some amazing results, here you can talk with the wizards that are building some of the fantastic routes available and learn how to make your own.

Newbie Help Required (VISTA so help files unsupported)

Post by natty »

I'll cut to the chase.

I know I'm a noob and I shouldn't be posting this, but try as I might I can't find the tutorial specified in the "please read this" thread. I have completed route geometry and now I am stuck with bunch of green grass and nothing else. I can't figure out how to lay track or put down houses and this is really annoying me. You don't have to repeat yourself, but a link to the tutorial may be useful.

Thanks
natty

Have you tried using the Help in route editor? Either press F1, or click on "help" in the main editor window, then choose "Route Editor". Under "Building your route" is a section on tracks which describes how to use the object selection window to choose different track sections and lay them, alter their position, etc.

I know it's not a link, but it's already there on your PC :)

It isn't on mine, I use Vista so "old" pre Vista help files are unsupported. Also, the version I bought (manufactured by Xplosiv) didn't come with a manual. I'll try searching further.

Search on the forum for Michael Vone.

All will be revealed when you look at any of the threads....
