Upgrade Mk2 Imminent

General discussion about Rail Simulator that doesn't really fit in to any specific category. A good place to start if you're not sure what category it should fit in to as well.

Continuing our promise to support and create the ultimate railway simulation software, we are pleased to announce that you will shortly be able to experience the next step in the Rail Simulator development programme - Upgrade Mk2

While still working closely with online communities we have once again managed to include a plethora of content that enhances the awesome experience to be found in Rail Simulator. No RS user will want to miss out on what's in store for Upgrade Mk2.

Here are some highlights of what Upgrade Mk2 brings:

Approach Control for 3 and 4 Aspect UK Colour Light Signals
Default to danger on all Semaphore and Junction Control signals
The ability to set timetable adhesion options on scenario instructions
Fully functional Dynamic Brakes on compatible rolling stock, as well as being interlocked with the throttle control
Vastly more screen resolution support as well as the ability to use dual or triple monitor setups thanks to Matrox Triple Head to Go
Further enhancements to the F3 Drivers Guide making the Map and Gradient screens even more useful
Vastly improved weather effects as well as prevention of rain inside trains
For a full run down of new features, improvements and fixes included a complete list will be provided on release of Upgrade Mk2.
