Making Tracks for Glasgow...

Post by NiallGray »

Foreword! The 26, coaches and DMU are all WIP models for the SCE route by Making Tracks and appear here by permission of Dave Babb. The route is Glasgow - Carlisle (version 3), which was never finished (so don't ask for a release date as the author stopped work on the route last year). For the eagle-eyed among you, there are a few scenery additions, and permissions were obtained (and in a couple of cases it involved asking myself for permission! )

Anyhow, after all that, a few pics of the 26 and rake of Mk1s heading towards Glasgow. I hope you like them.

Here we can just about see a 101, heading off towards Ayr.

Leaving Paisley. Couldn't resist sticking in my block of flats!

Last pic. About to pass a brand new 318, which is testing on the route, prior to introduction.

Shame I didn't do a video because that 26 sounds great! SCE should have the usual mix of great stock when it's done.

Certainly looks very good especially with those scenery improvments. :)

Concluding the journey to Glasgow...

A few shots of the Hillington and Cardonalds stations and a few glimpses of the WIP MT 107. Hope you like them!

The lines to the right are for Deanside Transit, which, for info purposes only, were included in the unfinished route.
