Great pictures Jon, you always manage to turn up something new.

I especially like the Circus train in some of the shots, it reminded me of when the Circus used to come to Nottingham by train in the 1950's. It would arrive at Nottingham Victoria (GCR) on a Saturday morning, the Circus staff would then Parade the animals along the Mansfield Road which would be lined with people to the Forest Recreational ground some mile and half away where the Circus would get set up. There was no Health & Safety or Animal Rights movements then.

The 'Dutch' route is actually Ligne du Morvan ......... as I've never had a Dutch route.
