Absolutely nothing official in the way of GE additions other than the parts that make up the later GE versions.

I think it was said before that it's not going to be extended any more and that was I'm sure posted on both this site and MT's own site.buffy500 wrote:Absolutely nothing official in the way of GE additions other than the parts that make up the later GE versions.
Anyway, if MT were thinking of it, it would have to be a new route maybe Great Eastern 2 with just the northern parts of the route ie Norwich, Felixstowe, Great Yarmouth, Berney Arms etc...
But haven't they already got a lot to do at the moment with these stock packs, not to mention the routes they are also working on for us to give them even more work to do, remember they do have other commitments outside MT.

I'd love to know how, why and by whom these rumours start...

Well the OP did say unoffical, so maybe someone thought.."I can do that", then realised how difficult the RE can be?ashgray wrote:I'd love to know how, why and by whom these rumours start...![]()

It would be good though if someone did make it. I'd love to potter around the broads and east Suffolk in a 153/6 like I used too...ah happy days

Re: MT ipswich to Norwich Extention.
Not that we are doing, but no it wouldn't have to be a new route, it could be designed to 'tag onto' the existing Great Eastern.ajax103 wrote:Anyway, if MT were thinking of it, it would have to be a new route maybe Great Eastern 2 with just the northern parts of the route ie Norwich, Felixstowe, Great Yarmouth, Berney Arms etc...
That said, anyone that releases an UNOFFICIAL UPDATE would still need to make sure it didn't install unless the user had GE, and in any case, user support would be dropped by MT & Contact Sales the minute it was modified.

Re: MT ipswich to Norwich Extention.
Yes but my point is the route is already demanding on PCs without further mileage to add to it which is why I posted that if such a route was to be done, it would be Great Eastern Part 2, covering Norfolk.lumpchase wrote:Not that we are doing, but no it wouldn't have to be a new route, it could be designed to 'tag onto' the existing Great Eastern.ajax103 wrote:Anyway, if MT were thinking of it, it would have to be a new route maybe Great Eastern 2 with just the northern parts of the route ie Norwich, Felixstowe, Great Yarmouth, Berney Arms etc...
