Anyone do a favour ?

Ok guys iv been reading the tutorials that tellyou how to put lighting on the al trains but just cant seem to get my head around it. Would anyone be a ble to do a couple for me on some specified units so i can see how its done???

Its quite easy

Copy a light already listed

and remove the headlight and just add the control and service lines

Thanks alot so i can copy all lights ad then just double the light number at top?? Also do i need to put AI in front

Yes, thats the idea.
Just watch for your last light, as it has 5 brackets( most have 3).... which is a closing statement.

Read Jon's post again carefully.Get Context as your file editor instead of wordpad.Learn how to copy and paste chunks of files,it saves a lot of time.When you have finished doing your lighting section count the number of "Light" statements you have.That will give you the figure to insert after the start of the Lights section.Also read the techdocs on the original CD.They are actually pretty good.Look at the tutorials on the Steam4Me site.That is the way I worked it out .Now Bin is available which makes the "TimeOfDay" statement work,my 59s,60s and 66s have player and AI lightsfor driving from both cabs with the correct headlight illuninated for night or day.Finally,if someone else does it for you then you will learn nothing.If you do it yourself,it may have been difficult but you have learnt something new.In my job there is no one else there to ask "can you do it for me".It is character building.In passing,I now have standardized eng files so if I download a new model I merely have to copy and paste the unique bits and I have a new loco which I know works and has no bugs and has braking and other parameters the same as every other piece of stock.

It will be the sphere light.........you can't have those as AI.
Remove the AI one and reduce the total to 21

Sound like you've got it sorted, though these are tutorials referred to below. The second link is useful to get settings right if you wanted to have AI lights for a loco using push-pull that you want red lights if its at the rear and white if its at the front.
