25057 BR Blue

Post by LeeEAS »

This model is fairly complete, but before I can post a screenshot I need to know whether it is ok to upload Mark Shipman's Class 25 model as when I used his Class 40 model I PM'ed he but did not get a reply and then was told that he had given permission some time ago for anyone to reskin and that I didn't need to ask him. So do I need permission for the Class 25 or did he given written permission to reskin all of his models, not just the 40? Cheers.
Cheers, Lee Scott. [aka 37518]

You need permission for induvidual models.

Why do you keep starting threads when you have nothing to show?!

Hi
Mark kindly donated all his models, except the Deltics, to the community.
More recently he has given permission to re-skin those too.
Cheers

I have something to show, I just have a question regarding permissions, and until that question is answered I can't post a screenshot...

That is very true - apologies. However why does the thread for the question have to be entitled "25027 BR Blue". ;)

Also, there is a thread which you started while just "waiting" for permission:

http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... 41&t=84165

and i'm pretty sure you started a thread about a 47 with nowt to show.

I'm sorry, not trying to have a go at you - just like to see the forums tidy.

That looks pretty good though - i like the front!

That is what the model is of, if I called it "Do I need permission to upload Mark Shipman's Class 25 model" then I'd have to either retitle the thread once the question was answered or start a new thread to post a screenshot thus making more clutter on the forum. I thought you just said you like it to be tidy??!! :o

I wont persue a argument - its meaningless and superfluous.

Looking very nice Lee, I'm guessing this one is based at the NNR? :)

Hi There

I havn't looked at the site for a while, 25057 looks great, shame the model's not so good, one of my earlier ones.

To clarify my position regarding reskinning my models - I'm happy for anybody to upload whatever they want, no additional permissions required, have fun.

Well I did the edit to 37427 on my computer as soon as I realised, so I could always upload my version as an unofficial patch if you want to save some time...
