Hi
FYI - I have made a post in the Narrow Guage forum about my plans for a new Talyllyn route for KRS.

Best wishes on the route. It looks as though you mean business!

Am I correct in thinking that the track gauge is 2'6"?

Regaeds.

No, the Talyllyn track guage is 2' 3" so at present all that's runing on it is Kevin Martin's Corris railway's stock :)

Aah, 2'3". That's handy.

I think I must have been thinking of another line; Welshpool perhaps.

The Welshpool is 2ft 6in. (I started a model of The Countess a couple of months ago, will realy have to try and finish something off!)

Just had a play with the MSTS model of the Old Lady and imported it into Railsim:-

Still WIP and needs plenty of work on texturing etc, to bring her up to more modern standards.

Cheers,
Kevin

She looks very nice anyway.
It might be just my imagination but, even though she's probably a direct port, I wouldn't expect her to look as well as that in MSTS.

Hi
The Talyllyn route would be a fantastic route for RS!
A few years ago i made a start on the Lynton &Barnstaple route for Trainz 2004,i am thinking about doing it for RS after my West Somerset Railway route is finished.

I'd agree that she does look better then in MSTS as she stands (maybe a little bright), but it should be possible to make her look even better :)

I looked at the line website. Dolgoch looks absolutely stunning in crimson.
I'm tempted to go there.

Kevin,

See if you can time your visit to the weekend of the Llandudno exhibition - i'm spending Saturday out on the Ffestiniog and Talyllyn with the kids since I promised Cameron that this year we'd go and see some Narrow Gauge railways this is too good an opportunity to miss :)

Looking good Kevin :-)

Another engine Bronwyn is going to enjoy driving on the narrow gauge.
Kindest regards

oh, wow, that looks soo much better than before... shows you what a good texture will do... but is it just my imagination or is the driver standing in the middle of the boiler with his feet sticking down through the floor. I expect u've noticed it, but I thought I'd mention it just in case.
