Looks really good Carl, I hate to criticise mate , but I think the grey is a little too dull compared to the more glossy finish of the original

Overall excellent mate! :D

I see what you mean Carl... The actual 91 looks too boxy to me...

I dont know, like looking at the 91 in NXEC colours, it all seems quite smooth and streamlined, where as the 91 in the pic that you posted just looks more like a box!!

I think though it could be due to the colouring clashing with the blue of the MK4s behind it... I think if they were the same colour or a complementing colour it might look better

according to the picture before that Anton also has it right

http://cw-railpic.fpic.co.uk/p47215204.html

with the coaches having the white stripe slope one way, my guess (not having seen a complete NXEC HST) is that both one HST will have the stripe slope forwards, where as the HST at the rear would slope backwards?

http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthrea ... 9&t=556673 5th post down shows a group of pictures that prove my theory to be correct. i also found a picture of a model of a class 91 which had the slope facing forwards on the left side and rear facing on the right side, hope this is some help

Best Wishes

Mike

Nope its still in-correct. That power car is facing the opposite way
Its all in relation to which way round the power car is, the stripe always slopes towards the left, its how the livery is to match the mk3's (see my version of the NX HST)

And as to the 91 images on that forum thread you linked, they are all mock up images.

Trust me.. all the diagonal slants go the same way, like a forward slash... its easier if you see the actual train.

Carl cannot do anything about the shape, so comments along the lines of it being boxy, don't really help.

No I know, but what I meant in my last post was, I think because of the actual shape of the 91 and the colours of the 91 and the MK4s not complementing each other, it makes it look boxy, so if the MK4's were in the same colour, I think it would look alright

The shape of the 91 power car is slightly incorrect due to the length of time ago the model was made when the creator had a bit less experiance then they do now (infact it was by ben laws wasn't it??..... so a LOT less experiance  ), but still looks very good.

So lets just leave it at that.

Oh and brilliant reskin Carl :D
