Some of you might already have seen the DMU and the pannier, and now there's some new additions to the motive power department. :D

That 5MT looks almost as good as the KRS one, as does the 4F, coming from Digital Traction.

Great shots :D I see MSTS is trying to mimic the new sim.

With the added advantage that you can run AI traffic how you want - not how the demon dispatcher thinks you want.

IMHO, MSTS at it's best has always been able to do that, and more, at least at the moment. The interesting point following on from that is - what will KRS look like in 7 years time, once people have mastered the skills to make the sort of routes, locos etc that are now stunning us with MSTS. Only time will tell....

Hi Ash

My meaning obviously wasn't clear - I was talking about MSTS AI. I can't speak with experience of KRS, but I have read pretty well everything on the forums here and at Trainsim.com, and signalling, scenarios and ispatching do not appear to be working well at the moment. Interest in the US has declined sharply measured by posts on the Trainsim forum, so unless the RS team sort things out soon I think a life of seven years looks optimistic in the extreme.

Hi Alan

No, your meaning WAS clear, and I agree entirely!

I was just referring to MSTS's uncanny ability to look far better than some of its detractors think it does. Even I, when I see new screenies of new routes, am startled by what a skilled writer can do for MSTS!
