Brookwood 06.07.08

Post by desiro5 »

I went to Brookwood to see NR 73's on 7G20 engineers train - never turned up. :(

As a concelation though I got 66085 on engineers train (clagging well!), so that made up for it. :)

Post on my blog here: http://confessionsofatrainsimmer.blogspot.com/

The clever ones may notice that the first pic is woking. :)

Nice shots Ali. Brookwood station really has gone downhill since Wilf (the one-man army that ran the place before he retired) left. Was the ticket office actually open when you were there?

Nice photographs - I like the 159 in the wet.

Don't see any clag at all on the 66 picture, think you're a big confused as to what clag is (ie thick grey smoke!)

Thanks.

It was clagging as it approached (well.... 66 clag.... not proper clag!) then the driver shut off throttle, which is what is pictured.
