Q re Installing Conbuilder Lite

Post by route64x »

I am in process of installing ConbuilderLite, and the download/unzip part has gone OK.
I have placed it in a new folder (on same drive as MSTS), under the program files folder i.e. d:\program files\conbuilder

Running the .exe file starts the program OK, and I am prompted to confirm the path where MSTS resides. This I do, BUT then, accordign to the manual I should also receive various prompt to confirm editor etc. These do not appear, and working through the manual and the file options in Conbuilder I can see no place to then set these options.

Am I missing something blindingly obvious here?

Help appreciated

The editor is now automatically set for wordpad so there is no longer a prompt.

Joe,

Many thanks for clearing that one up. One more thing to cross off the 'worry about' list.

Hi John, Hope you don't mind me jumping in. Have a look at this for when you start downloading activities.

Ronald,

Thanks for that. Added to my list of 'Read, Mark, Learn and inwardly digest', as my old English teacher used to say.

Been a bit short of tiem over last couple of days, and aim to spend this next week or so just making sure I am comfortable with everything loaded so far.
I am working through all the downloads to make sure I have some understanding as to what they are doing - or maybe should be doing.

Tonight is the Train Store Manual.

Hi John, Even I have not read the TS manual completely,I use it as reference tool.
Here is something else that you should add to your Favs list
