EWS 37's around Edinburgh

Post by bruce16 »

Hi guys,

This morning was like buses you wait ages on an EWS 37 to come to Edinburgh then you get two within 45 minutes.

Firstly at Musselburgh

09.51 37401 6B44 Oxwellmains to Powderhall

then it was over to Newcraighall

10.30 37422 6K16 Millerhill to Achnasheen

Cheers
Bruce

Brilliant shots Bruce, good to see 37422 at work again; if I'd stayed on The Edinburgh Merseyman at Liverpool, I would've got unexpected mileage behind 422. Sadly I never knew about it till next morning, but that's another story.

Keep it up mate! :D

Nice photos Bruce, luckily I caught 422 up the line at Cowdenbeath. Last night I was informed to expect 401 on 6K16, but then this morning it was allocated the bins job so expected a 60 or 66, only was it an hour before it came through I heard it was 422!!!!! Lucky huh!

Thanks for the comments guys,

here is a couple more from Craigentinny this afternoon because 37401 worked an additional Edinburgh binliner. It got held next to the depot for about a minute to wait for access to the Powderhall line.
