Hi
I have just installed Version 5 of this route after deleting version 4.
I then ran RS_Tools to check the route and Stock all ok there.
However, I ran RS_Kickstart to edit the following ;-
Sheffield to Bristol
Leicester to Birmingham
and the Paths for both are missing.
Can some one help me please?
Best regards
Mike

Hello Mike,
I've just run those Scenario's from Kickstart and they load no problem.
What were you actually doing in Kickstart with Edit to cause the error 'missing Paths' to display, do they run OK if not Editing?

I wanted to change the mk1bg_br.bin coaches to ones I had. I have had no problems with altering stock in the other scenarios for this route. RS_Kickstart says the Paths are not there ;- Run time error '76' : Path not found
What I have noticed using RS_Tools to check the route is a reference to " ....\Addon\Railnet\trackrules\example_track_rule " is missing, would this fix it and if so where would I find it please.
Any suggestions to get these two scenarios to run please.
Best regards
Mike

Re: Bristol to Sheffield
Hi again,
I wouldn't have thought changing Rolling Stock items would envolve 'Paths', unless it's talking P/C paths and not RS paths, so I'm getting a bit out of my depth here.
The only reference I have met with
Mike Simpsons the man for this, if you PM him I'm sure he'll respond, but don't forget he is down under so give him time to answer you.
Worth checking that you've got your Serz.exe is in the right place though.

is I believe when the serz.exe file is not in the right place, have you copied Serz.exe into the Windows\System32 folder?Run time error '76'

I have solved it. The instructions did not state that you have to go into edit mode for each of the scenarios. Having entered edit mode then the rest of the instructions become clear, blue box, yellow arrow, right of window select Jetgriff then drive ( bottom right ).
I could say there was Leaves on the line but I will say more Fog than anything else.
Best regards

Hello again Mike,
Isn't always something simple that you've overlooked, glad you are all sorted with this and can get on with enjoying Bristol to Sheffield Route.
Jetgriff is doing a great job capturing the feel of this Route and as I live in the Midlands I enjoying driving on it, look forward to when it reaches Derby, nearer to my home town.
