Shed In The Shop! - Class 66

General discussion about Rail Simulator that doesn't really fit in to any specific category. A good place to start if you're not sure what category it should fit in to as well.

Shed In The Shop! - Class 66

Post by DazDood »

Assuming that this hasn't been posted elsewhere and that my eyes don't deceive me, I've noticed the Class 66 is now available from the Official Rail Simulator website shop for a the bargain price of £9.99 :)

Hmmm same problem looks like they couldn't get licensing, but hey we can always add the logos ourselves. I guess thats what they expected us to do too because they gave use the canvas like the freightliner green and yellow and they're obviously meant to be like that because they are in the .pdf file.

Not certain, but I wouldn't be surprised if this is related to the issues that prevented EB from using the Virgin logo and livery on their Pendolino model.

I wonder if the running numbers are still correct, hope they are then it is just a case of adding the logos.

You can test things 'til the cows come home, you have no guarantee everything will run smoothly.

And the liveries don't contain the respective logos for what I imagine to be legal reasons, but slapping one on will take 5 seconds and that'll bring the issue nicely out of their hands.

Hi,

The 66 was tested by a large number of people from this forum and on all machines in the office.
Once we have got to the bottom of the issue we will post up a response and the updated pack.

There is no need to make a comment on the logos; we never advertised any branded liveries.

Regards
