A mix from Norfolk

Post by JonPotter »

All,
We're in Norfolk at the moment, better weather than this week last year. A work in progress collection is at http://jonpotterphotos.fotopic.net/c1516843.html

Please have a look and comment, so far North Norfolk is the only railway featured

Best wishes

I agree, these shots remind me of my childhood holiday trips down to Cromer and Sheringham, ah Happy Days! :P

Thanks all. Glad they've been well received so far, it seems like ages since I last visited a railway!

The plan is a family day tomorrow, but hopefully will be able to get a few landscape shots, and then back to the NNR on Wednesday. Depending on the weather I may come home Wednesday evening but we'll wait and see.

I don't have any editing software here - I have a couple of photos that need minor tweaks before I can use them (and a couple that need to be converted to black and white) which will be done on my return. I'll upload all of them to my main site (http://www.jonpotterphotography.co.uk) then and let you all know when they're up.

Thanks again
Jon

Thanks Murray :)

Will be off out in an hour or two to get some night shots of the town. Railway on Thursday is the plan, the forecast is best then.

Spent a very dull day at the Mid Norfolk and a brief visit to the BVR today - did see what I think is a newly overhauled No. 8???

Anyway updating now with around 10 more pics. Didn't get the night shots yesterday - will try and do this tonight after the game.

Yes, you did :) She's been converted to coal firing as part of the overhaul.

Anyway, some more nice shots, well done.
