Just using Peter Harvey's excellent B17 for the first time in a scenario I've copied using Kickstart..
It's only set up with 10 gallons of water in the tender and as I'm nowhere near a water column at the start of the scenario, how do I change the default figure please. I'm assuming it's using the Bin Converter utility but that's as far as I've got.
Thanks,
Steve Dymott

Re: Peter Harvey's B17
Hi all
What Steve did was replace the black 5 for the City of London in one of the S&D scenarios using Kick Start. Im not sure what happens but the value of the water drops to 10gallons and the coal goes in to the millions of pounds, the only way I can fix it is by opening the scenario editor and then double clicking the tender a Pop out appears on the right hand side and the coal and water levels can be reset. He tells me that he has tried with a couple of other locos but didnt have an issue. So not sure what it is I have done wrong
, If the RSDL team have any idea could they let me Know so in future I can fix it.
Many Thanks
Peter

Re: Peter Harvey's B17
Thought i'd post it here as it probably doesn't justify a new thread.
When using the B17 with a heavy train and slipping occurs, the driving wheels roll along where as the bogie wheels actually begin to spin at quite a pace. whilst it doesn't detract from what it is a great model, i thought i'd mention this. just in case it is any use to anyone!
Edit: it happens to the default 5MT and 7F too!
