The Gatwick Express is already done, and available for download from this site (the train that is, not the route)

From what i am aware of, discussion was already made about the Heathrow Express, and it was concluded that more pics and detail on the livery was needed to complete the complex design for the skinning of the model.

I think there is much simpler older livery, which would be a bit easier, but the request for many more HeX photos still stands, Side on shots, please...

well, i was in paddington recently, and i can say that the H-E trains are grey, with a darker grey/navy blue bit around the windows. those carriages should be nice and easy, unfortunately the heathrow end carriage of each 4 car set appear to be in a nasty purple livery that says "royal bank of scotland" all over it. even uglier than a gatwick express train!

Erm, thats a generous offer, but its up to you, theres a big difference between sneding jpgs direct from a camera to buying a camera and posting stuff.
I guess you could just send the camera when its done and I'll then get them developed ?

if you want! i'll see what i can do, though last time i was there it didn't look that easy to get onto a platform, loads of ticket inspectors. i'm not sure what they'll think of my zone 1-2 travelcard. i'll claim i'm getting off at acton. which is probably in zone 3. i'll see what i can get.

Well if ur patient, i'll be in London on the 9th, with a high powered digi cam. Im actually going thru waterloo, but if there is no tube strike again, i would be happy to nip up there for some shots.

Yes getting on the Heathrow Express Platform is out of the question. U need a ticket for the train, and it doesnt stop anywhere but Heathrow and Paddington. But the station is curved, so if u head out of one of the platforms to the right of it, u should be able to get far enough to see them from the bend. Also they are every 15mins so u could quite easily get them entering and exiting the station.
