virgin class 390 pendolino

Post by n863dwt »

i dont know about the rest of you but when i used the 390 on the north west route (usa) the pendolino's rear car started moving forward through the rest of the caraiges and launching them off behind then when i slowed down and braked it accelerated to 1115kphand spun all over the track...!

has anyone else had this problem....?

I did once lose the four rear coaches at 140 mph on the LGV Med and when I braked, hoping they'd re-couple, they telescoped through the other coaches - most strange - but otherwise it's been fine. Don't know what caused that incident.

It hapened to me on the NW Trains 2.3. It was strange. I let the telescoping one into a siding. First it went flying then I followed...

this could be due to the bounding box in the .sd file, or the strength of the couplers. I'll see what I can do before I release V1.1. Thanks for pointing this out, as I don't think I've had this problem.

I had this problem when I made a class 465 (which doesn't exist now, so no asking for it). I would try going over the points then suddenly the whole train uncoupled. I tried braking but then the coaches behind that uncoupled went straight through the front coach when I reversed. I then went forwards and the train derailed (or so it said on the screen, even though it hadn't). I increased the power of the couplers and fixed the .sd file and it worked.

I once was going along the Settle-Carlisle route in a TX158 and the whole thing uncoupled coach by coach as I went past 90 MPH.

no, I scrapped it because;

1. It didn't look that 'good'; wasn't the right shape and stuff.
2. Buffy500 plans to make a 465 better than his old one, so it's got to be great as his origional one was pretty grood.
