A replica of the Golden Hind in Brixham, Kev.

Re: Landmark Guess the Location (3)
Well it certainly won't be the original ship that drake had, will it, even Englishphotons66 wrote:A replica of the Golden Hind in Brixham, Kev.

The present 'Golden Hind' now moored on the River Thames at London Bridge, is a replica, built to the highest standards by the Hinks shipyard in Appledore, Devon. Her keel was laid on 30th September 1971, and the new Golden Hind was launched on 5th April 1973 by the Countess of Devon, appropriately sent on her way with a bottle of mead, instead of the traditional champagne. Once launched, she completed her own circumnavigation of the globe, returning to England in 1980 to celebrate the 400th anniversary of Drake's own voyage. This magnificent ship has also completed several tours of the British coastline, and one trip to Canada, before coming to rest at her permanent London home in 1991.
Golden HindA second replica has been permanently moored in the harbour of the sea port of Brixham in Devon since 1963.

The one at Brixham is a static one. There are two replicas.

Re: Landmark Guess the Location (3)
I recognised it but Bass Rock was on the Scottish TV news today so half of Scotland could have got it.
Don't have a photo ready so I'll hand over to someone else.
