lswrjct-***

Post by Dave1955 »

Hi again, yep it's me, pain in the bottom again. I have just had a look at my Yorkshire Coast Route and found some missing shape and definition files;

lswrjct-3xsi
lswrjct-bs-ms-bs
lswrjct-bs-ms-si
lswrjct-ms-ms
lswrjct-ms-ms-bs
lswrjct-ms-si-si
lswrjct-si-si
lswrjct-si-si-ms
lswrjct-si-si-si

I suspect they are signal files but try as hard as I can't find them under lswr. Can anyone help please.

Only two of the items you quote are part of the above kit, LSWRJct-BS-MS-BS and LSWRJct-MS-MS.

All the signal shapes needed to run the YCR are included in both the download and the CD versions. These are my variations and placed in the shapes folder along with the rest!

Route users wouldn't normally need to download signal sets unless they are dabbling with a bit of route building as well. My, it would get complicated for beginners if they had to involve themselves with the intricacies of signal scripts just to get a route working.

Suggest you reinstall the YCR from wherever you obtained it and all should be well.

Thanks John,
Sorry about the delay in thanking you for your reply.

The route seems to work fine with the activities I have, it is only Route-riter that throws up queries on my system. I was just concerned that it may be looking at parts of the route I haven't used.

Have a look in the route SHAPES folder and see if those files actually exist. If they do then all is well, if not you may get a problem 'somewhere along the line!'
