Following comments in other posts about this route, I decided to test the item. I installed it using Package Manager from the .rpk file and then checked the Routes.xml file (having backed up my good copy of Routes.xml first).
This confirmed what I suspected after the problems with the Cinder Lane route -
1. Adding the new route using the Package Manager added its entry to the Routes.xml
2. The format of the new route in the .xml file was incorrect in that the end of each line ended in a single line feed character and not in the Carriage Return/Line Feed characters normally used.
3. This means that although the route may appear in Rail Simulator, any further routes you add will be invisible.
I will upload a beta of RS_Tools to the library today with a Check .xml file item on the Tools menu. This will fix some, but not all Routes.xml file problems.

The latest version of the Cinder Lane ( last updated 13/3/08 ) route should be OK, well it is for me at least and I've installed routes and scenarios after it with no problem.

Well I suppose that explains why the problems have resurfaced.

Hello, seeing as I'm the creator of the East Albert Light Railway and I just wanted 2 check I understand this correctly... there's a problem with the route and it's xml. If this is the case what should I do to fix the problem.
