Excelent just like the mixed traffic gala last summer.
we just need D1013+D1048 to visit the WSR then all seven surviving Thousands will have worked on the Minehead branch. :D

It's the one and only West Somerset Railway.

You're right Ian, thanks.
It is a cracking model by Reg, of a superb diesel.........added to the brilliant sounds by Chris B and cabview by Gary P and we have in MSTS as close to the real thing as possible. :P
And yes the route is the nicely crafted WSR, by Railwaves.

very nice and i was on the tour so brings back memories.All we need back is the bats western reskins,taking nothing away from regs western here.Those sounds are very good are these avail anywhere as these do bring that superb video alive.

Hi Richard
I think I now personally prefer Reg's Western shape (although the BATs one was good).
I'd love to see a dirty BR Blue version.
The sounds are all by Chris Baily, one is working off the freeware Ultimate Western sounds, the other is working off the donationware ELR sounds.
Both have a second invisy engine to give the 'twin' sounds available under the bin patch.

Considering that both recordings were made from a Western with both engines powering wouldn't this technically be incorrect?
