Nice to see so many new objects!

Whether it's a simple house, a small bush, a station, a phone box, a sheep or any other piece of scenery here's where you can talk with others building them. Scenery is often also a great place for beginners to start out their 3D modelling hobby before moving on to more complex items such as Locomotives.

Excellent Theo.

I was looking at Dundee's Christmas lights tonight, only thing really stopping me is the lack of drawing skills, same thing thats stopped me half way through doing the suitcases :-(

Yeah, true for the lights, I have loads of photos of suitcases but I just can't make them work.

You got the right team first time :-)
There is a few other teams in Dundee, Lochee United and Dundee Violet for example. :P

I am very :) with the new ground textures I am making.
But..on a distance when the grass is visible above the sky, I see the borders of the texture file. (grey stripes)
I did use the dds utilities (dvdxt.exe) to get rid of this borders. In near view ;result: OK. But it seems as if the borders return on a other mip-level.
Does anyone know more about this?

I made a png file with a green alphachannel, and converted it into a dds file, converted that again with ToAce.

Ace, any chance of a cyclist caked in mud, looking a bit like Eddie Mercx on the Paris - Roubaix?

Mister Paris - Roubaix = Roger De Vlaminck
(5 time winner)

We have seen here a lot of nice scenery but
I wonder if the game can pull it.
(is a question)
You'll need a strong computer ;)

Killing framerate?
The computer can take it. I Have a pentium 4 3 Ghz, 2 GB and 512 MB video memory. I think just a normal PC. The scenes are build up with procedural flora, and the objects all have lods. When you compare the polycount wiht rolling stock..it's peanuts.

 SAD

Environment section almost completed for my route. New flora file, and kuju textures included in blueprint. Here some screenshots of the possibilities.

Very Nice! The old Kuju trees are too much of the same size and shape, this one looks new, even with the old leaves. (Cutting leaves is very :evilbat: )
Thanks a lot for youre source files. Now I am finished with my terrain stuff, next will be trees. The route must have a new personal look. Trees and foliage are very important for that.
