Excellent to see development continue. :D Will the locos have their sounds too?

Steam locos have versions of the generic steam sound-sets, though they sound OK for the purpose as the exhaust beats are set by wheel rotation velocity, not indicated ground speed so sound like a convincing recreation of engines thrashing up the Ratty. The diesel locos use the 'small shunters soundset' which is the closest soundset i can find- you will be pleased to hear NONE use the MSTS default sounds!

Phew, big long sigh of relief... The msts sounds really don't cut it anymore, stupid when your driving the default Scotsman you would be going at 25 mph and chuff sounds like it's going at 3 mph!
To give the models a bit more personality will the whistles be slightly different? I can just remember that river mite had a lms low hooter, whereas the other 3 had high pitched, shrill whistles (good times).

Not quite, River's Esk and Irt have shrill whistles (Irt has a Great Western one, don't know whether its a small or large though) but Northern Rock has a fantastic deep Britania class chime which easily outdoes the noise that comes out of the others
Anyway, having had a brief flirtation with MSTS before I started uni last September I very much look forward to getting the Ratty train sim having been an R&ER society member since I can't remember when and been a volunteer for 10 years

If we could get our hands on video clips, audio clips of them. I'm sure they could be included...

The route is now 100% (as of yesterday!!!) finished!

Thanks to some excellent work by Andrew Lamin, the gaps where I ran out of time and talent have been filled, as well as some excessive polygon issues.

I'm now just waiting on a few items of updated stock, tidying up a few edges and we're away!

Not 100% sure yet where it will be released- I may try and get it as a UKTS CD. Just doing eng files now- there's a lot of bonus stock going on here so theres lots of 15 inch guest engines to use!
