Some outstanding work there, pitty it wasnt done in time for us to demo at Workington this weekend, ah well, always next year :D

And just out of curiosity, will the locos have the infamous sound of the diaphram on the air pumps for the brakes, I think that sound sounds up the R&ER locos :)

Cheers...

Cheers guys, yep it has been a lot of effort, including learning 3d building modelling skills!

Sounds- well they'll have generic sounds unless someone comes forward as that's beyond my abilities......

There is only me and David working on this at the moment and as far as i know neither of us has any idea about how to make a sound set for these locos. If there was a willing volunteer out there then that would be great after all they don't really sound like Flying Scotsman, although neither do the default sounds :D

Plus it would be a good excuse to go to the ratty again.

Hi David,

Looks very nice, the ballast edges looks a bit 'straight' to me though, if you could alpha the edges so that it wasn't such a conistent line it would go from very nice, to superb!

I'll have a bash at that Ben- its the first time I've done a track textuure, so its in experimental stages. I want to try and make the sleepers chunkier if possible too, as a lot of R&ER's sleepers are ex BR cut into sections.

Irton Road as modified to suggestions from R&ER staff. Island platform as narrow as I can get it, and plenty of room in the loop for 2 trains. Views are shown in each direction from the bridge. Car park to be laid soon.

Cheers I'm a lot happier with it myself now- detail platform markings to be added later.

For now I'm working on this reskinned from Mike Traves's Brighton Belle set for Ravenglass car park.........

A little update for those of you into the slightly more useless members of the ratty loco fleet.
