EMT diversions

Post by carlwestwood »

A collection of photos from around Melton Mowbray of East Midlands Trains diversions whilst engineering works take place.
These Diversions take place every sunday with services running from Kettering to Leicester via Corby, Harringworth, Manton Junction, Melton, and Syston East Junc.
I also manage to nail 170116 in the sun =)

See individual photo descriptions for train identifications. ..

Smashing shots as usual pal! If only there were more HST's in my part of the country (apart from Doctor Yellow of course!)... :D

Carl, you might know why but I saw a MML liveried 222 at York yesterday about mid day, is it on loan to AXC or do EMT run services to York at the weekend?

I once saw a Meridan in York station in August 2007 on a return Scarborough to London St Pancras (a few months before Midland Mainline ceased to exist), followed by another one stabled in Holgate sidings three months afterwards. So I would assume that EMT do operate Sunday services with the 222 units.
