new to MSTS

Post by koenig »

Hello

I found this forum while looking on the internet and thought that you all look like a friendly bunch, i am new to the world of MSTS after recently finding a copy in a bargain bin at the local software store, i have had a play around with it and i am quite impressed with it, I also have Railway Simulator and whilst graphically that looks better its buggy as anything and it so jerky on my pc so i may be driving trains on MSTS more, i have a couple of questions if someone could answer them that would be great.

1 Is there a program that will enable train doors to open whilst at stations like on RS?

2 Am thinking about buying a copy of London and South East trains Add on as i live there and would like to drive local trains, can anyone tell me their experience of using it.

Many thanks for taking time out to read this

kind regards

Hi
No so much a programme as the model must be made with the animations.
A few early animated MSTS models used the pantograph........so the doors operate on the P Key.

There is now an addon called the Bin patch, which enables doors to be operated left and right independently.
Although again only if the model has been built compliant.

Making Tracks LSE is a superb route, but will push any MSTS setup to the full.
