Patch/Upgrade

General discussion about Rail Simulator that doesn't really fit in to any specific category. A good place to start if you're not sure what category it should fit in to as well.

We don't like to divide up the world into different time sectors, RSDL mean time is all we know about.

We have taken appropriate steps to prevent any server crashes this time
That's almost a red rag to a bull :D

When I say 'go', everybody hit download together. 3 ....2.....1.....

Okay, race is on to install it first. Except it's almost bedtime here and I've just finished work and had a glass of scotch err I mean warm milk. Not sure the eyelids will make it unless uploaded in the next 30 minutes.

The more people that download it the more chance theres gonna be :o

Say it was uploaded right know there will be about 50 or 60 people who will get it.

But after 3 or 4 pm theres gonna be atleast 300 poeeobly more? :o

The best thing to do was upload it at 12 last night then let the people download it at there wish :o

The best thing for us is to release it when we are ready too, and not when people tell us too.
You will be able to download the Upgrade from more than one place.

Plus, not releasing at midnight generates amusing threads like this one! Ahhh the joys of being some sort of developer.... I know the situation all too well. "It'll be ready when its ready and not a moment before!" And now, as it's nigh on 2am where I live, its time for bed! Happy downloading! ;)
