EWS 47

General discussion about Rail Simulator that doesn't really fit in to any specific category. A good place to start if you're not sure what category it should fit in to as well.

EWS 47

Post by gamerouche »

I downloaded & installed the recently released EWS Class 47 as per usual but when I try to run it in the game, I find I can't add a driver to it, neither am i able to delete the loco using the usual method............any suggestions please?

No probs with all my other locos.

Hi,
Same problem but if you are careful and find the click point it works fine. It seems to be limited to a few specific spots rather the the bulk of the loco as normal. Nice Loco and Reskin.

I've had a few problems with this one as well. I can select it from the list and place it on the track,I can add a driver to it but in the game I cannot select it to drive by clicking on it and it's very difficult to delete. The modle will "highlight" when clicked on but I have to find the sweet spot as it were to get the direction icon up before I can delete it. Out of all the 47's reskins this is the one I've been waiting for. Keep em coming, thats what I say... JJW.

Hi all.
Right i managed to replicate the problem, and its now fixed!
i have uploaded a version 2 of the Ews class 47 and also a Victa 47 version 2.
if you have had any problems just unzip to the class 47 folder, and it will ask to overwrite the old files click "yes to all ".
remember to delete blueprints .pak.
with regards
kevin.

No trouble Kevin the fact that you are producing something for us to use and enjoy makes it worth any problems that occur. We are all on the learning curve as I have discovered with my Route on numerous occasions and had to make alterations to get things to work properly.
