something to put behind the cotswald 43's

Post by nikos1 »

Hi everyone,
heres some shots of a skin ive been working on recently, some MML MK3's to put behind your Cotswald 43's.
Ive never seen these in person so im judging colors and stuff from photos but i think they look about right. i just wanted something accurate to put behind these beautiful Cotswald class 43 skins.
so far ive only done a 2nd class coach, seems there isnt much different in the exterior of the first and second, no yellow stripe. ill probably also do a TGS and buffet car and mabye later on a MML powercar to go with them.
the skin is still WIP, i cant figure out how to change the roof texture, need to mess around more, found the texture but cant find how to get it to work on the skin.
anyways heres some pics

shot from the dark side to show off the logo detail, shame that the KRS lighting totally washes out details on the light side of the track.

hope you guys like them

They look great, if you want to change the roof texture use the default coaches as your base and copy all their files into a new folder, then adjust the .bin files accordingly and change the roof texture.

For not having seen any in person, that's pretty accurate, except, perhaps, the blue should be greener.

IMHO I dont think the blue should be green in the slightest (although im only judging by pics, but in pics it looks pure blue to me.)

Thanks everyone for your comments!
as for the blue being greenish im not quite sure, it depends what kind of light its in, seems to have a bit of green tint, i originaly had it a more blueish blue but changed that as it looked wrong. i guess ill have to mess around with it a bit more.

Yeah I interpret the colour to have a slightly greener appearance. Skin looks very nice indeed though. Have you managed to do the buffet? :D
