Post by photons66 »

Hi there

Does anyone know where I can find or have a map of the Yorkshire Coast route please?

Many thanks.

For one of the most popular MSTS routes, I'm surprised at the dearth of responses.

As far as I know, no msts route map has been produced for the route. You might find some archive details of the route by search T'internet though.

Best regards

Down load the File Utilities/TK Utils-Archibald _Horace _Mapper & zipper then read the read me files The first two ignore. But Mapper does as it says and Zipper allows you to read anything in unicode . I have maps of most of my routes 90odd by this method and If I can do it anyone can :D

Ronald, thanks for this tip, I'd obviously missed it before. Yes, it produces maps for any route, ideal!

From memory I'm pretty sure there is a copy of an old map on the CD showing the route c.1910ish. Also see the loading screen. Better mention too a selection of railway books on the NER in a local library or pre 1960 OS maps from a boot sale or second hand book shop!

Tim Booth also produced a map producing utility which worked very well.
