Hi
Welcome to the forums, I believe this happens if you have applied a no CD patch (or other non supprted addons).
I think I have read, the remedy is to unistall and re-install.

If you have the US version, the UK version tools don't work too well, or even install.

Hi there,
The only way.. as far as I know IS to use the developer tools to create or edit a scenario. If installing it again won't help, im not shure what will..
In way of help starting to use these tools have a look at R.S's collection of videos.. there is a link on their website for them.. they are a bit short and some of them you have to watch several times to figure out what the guy on there is saying.. but they helped me a great deal when i was stuck on something.. but i did most of my learning through trial and error, as yes it is a little fusstrating at first but don't let it get over you. Alternativly there are guite a few good descussion boards on here which will help you a great deal too..
Good Luck!!!

If you have the UK version, you will have Newcastle to York, if you have the US version, you will have Cajon Pass.

Navigate to your Railsim folder and put your cursor over the Railsim.exe this should bring up a box with the version number on it but if it doesn't, then Right click on the Railsim.exe icon and select properties. then select the version tab at the top of the box and it will show you which version you have.
Cheers,
Stewart.

The developer tools installed fine .... but it asks for the dvd to open every time ... can it be prevented or do i have to insert the dvd every time ....
another problem is that in scenario editor i dont get the "set destination" icon in the top left panel in tutorials i have seen ther are more icons than what i have .... in mine i have only till set driver icon ... whereas in tutorials there are much more than what i have in that panel .... what could be ther problem.
