derailing in freeroam

is there any way i can run a train without it going over a crossed point causing it too derail when in freeroam..?

In Free Roam Mode hit the #9 Key to get the 2D Map and change the points so that the blue line extends beyond the point you want to traverse. You cannot run through trailing points without being de-railed unless you manually change the points for the route you require.

Method of changing points in this mode is to hold shift and left mouse click on points that require shifting.
