I have tried downloading file 18152 A Truly Invisible Pilot twice and both times received an empty file. Any suggestions please.

Re: Empty file
Just downloaded it fine
readme to prove it.

A Truly Invisible Pilot.
This is a refinement (and hopefully an improvement) of my original Invisible Pilot loco (UKTS 13621) which, unlike the original, has no cab or sounds. The original was developed in the days pre-Bin patch and therefore before the ability to move between locos in a consist.
To use this loco, start an activity with it as the Player loco, either light engine or coupled to another loco and full consist. If starting light engine, move the Invisipilot to the back or the front of a consist which includes a player driveable loco, couple up and use F9 and 1 to move into the cab of the normal loco. Drive for a while. Stop the train, move back into the Invisipilot (F9 and 1), uncouple and drive the Invisipilot over to another consist. Repeat the process.
Thanks again to thassos (Des Healey) for the original idea and for testing the result of my first set of fiddlings.
If you want to try it out, download the original file 13621 and run the included activity using this loco instead of the one included in that download.
If you want to see where the invisible pilot is from the outside, turn on the bounding boxes by pressing Ctrl and the + key on the numeric keypad. If you want to see where the controls are set when driving the invisible pilot, press F5 twice.
There are three invisible pilots included. One is based on a steam loco and the other two on a diesel loco.
NOTE: The steam version has vacuum brakes and Chain couplers and the diesel versions have air brakes and automatic couplers. You may need to change these to suit the rest of your rolling stock.
If you want to have both a steam invisible loco and a diesel one available at all times, do not run either batch file and use the InvisiPilot.eng for a steam invisible loco and InvisiPilotD.eng for a diesel invisible loco.
If you want to switch back and forth between the steam and diesel versions and use a loco with a file name of InvisiPilot all of the time, run the Steam.bat file to get the steam version and the Diesel.bat to get the diesel version.
Thanks to Martin Wyatt for suggesting and testing the refinements.
Any problems or comments, e-mail me at latimers@ihug.co.nz or PM me on UKTS (latimers).

Re: Empty file
Well I just tried it and got a zip file with 12 files in it totally 71KB so the file is definitely intact on the server.

Re: Empty file
I downloaded the invisible pilot but I can't see it in the sim.
Actually I can see it.
It casts a shadow under bridges.
Shape viewer tells me the shape is 1.732m by 1.5m and thats the size of the shadow.
This was pointed out to me regarding another invisible shape. I've never noticed it because I have the shadows switched off.
My solution was to make a shape as small as possible.
My version sits just under one of the rails. It has the untexture side facing up and a LOD of 1m. It has 1 poly.
The shadow is still there but you can't get close enougth to see it.
It doesn't have a texture. Instead it aliases to a default texture in the global folder.
The actual size dosn't matter in the model. That takes it's size from the .eng or .wag file and the bounding box from the .sd.
I'll upload an upgrade to my invisiwag using the new shape.
Anyone is free to use it. Just rename it to suit.

The Zip file contains three files; an .apk file, a .txt file and a .jpg file.
