To be honest, I'm not sure that there is really enough NG interest to need a separate forum for every simulator (esp noting how quiet it has been in here lately). At the end of the day we'd end up with 4 separate forums all posting similar things (or hardly anything).

I've already discussed this with Matt and his feeling was to make the NG forum non-sim specific, which I think would be a good idea. If necessary, each topic title could be prefaced with [MSTS], [RSDL] or [Trainz] or [all sims] to avoid any nasty shocks!

Nonsense, your models would look great in Railsim :)

Kevin,

As I said before, you keep leading, I'll keep trying to catch up!

I have got as far as realising that I need a new graphics card!

Well, in a few weeks I'll be upgrading my dinosaur here (my 7.5 year old PC) and then buying RS so if Kevin can getr the NG system started, I'll gladly help out :D

May even do my Warbler System in TWO sims (RS and MSTS) and have much more prototypical track in RS than MSTS 2ft, 2ft 6inch and Standard, and maybe even miniature if it'll work!

I'm running RS on a low quality nvidia 7500 card and it actually works quite well. Not saying I wouldn't like a better one, though! ;)

Dale,
I shall be uploading some NG track in the near future. I can't see no reason why miniature railways couldn't be simulated, either.

And just to prove the models are truescale, a picture of Britomart running alongside my Ivatt 2mt tank model.

Just to add fuel to the fire, I'm currently re-doing my WDLR stuff for KRS - relearning 3DC on the fly.

Problem is, some of it looks pretty basic now so don't hold your breath. The cab building exercise is also a steep learning curve for me - I might have to do the simplex first, purely because of the almost complete lack of cab... ;)

2ft rules!

That's a very old cart, John, driven by a very old and weary horse.

I suppose it's possible to have many NG track sets in RS? I assume you can pick which set you want and it's included in the route when you distribute. Looking at the size of routes so far available the file size is very small compared to TS1.

I've had 3 gauges up and running so far on one route. Haven't got as far as trying to package one up, though.

hi Kev, good work, getting it working is the hard bit, once you have it in and working the rest is plain sailing...
