Railwaves

General discussion about Rail Simulator that doesn't really fit in to any specific category. A good place to start if you're not sure what category it should fit in to as well.

Brilliant, great to see a few third-party developers building for RS.

That's good news as I've got their track, 66 and sprinter soundsets and they really enhance MSTS, :D

It's the same product which was discussed in this thread. As per the Railwaves website, it is being developed by them and published by Just Trains. The Voyager is the (excellent) model which has been available for TRS for some time, albeit slightly updated by the looks of things. Wonder if the RS version will tilt though?

"We've cracked it! At last we can offer you a tilting train that is configurable to track, location and speed.

Our new Super Voyager comes complete with trackside "radio beacons" that enable you to switch on / off the tilting mechanism on curves when you reach an appropriate speed."

Yes, might be worth editing your post in case one of the younger members gets overexcited and ends up buying a Trainz addon. Firstly that page is dated April 5th 2007 (long before RS was out), and secondly if you had clicked the "Full details here" link on that page you would have seen the words "For TRS2004/2006".

Yet another case of someone posting without thinking..
