Hi,
I am using the Bath Templecombe tunnel track which has a divider wall between the tracks. The tunnel entrances are also split in two. How do I get the track separation needed for the tunnel entrance and still get two parallel tracks?
Also are there any twin track tunnels without the divider available which would join with the Bath Old Track or New Track I could add to my Track Rule Blueprint
Thanks and Regards James.

Re: Twin Track Tunnels
Hi,
Have solved one problem and encountered another. I have managed to make two single tunnels by offsetting the lines using 6 Tracks from the original 2 Tracks then deleting tracks 3,4and 5 then joining track 2 to 6 with a long crossover. Deleting the uneeded pieces of track and welding as appropriate. Doing the same at the other end of the tunnel in reverse.
But because the tunnel is not aligned with the grid, raising the ground to make the hill is proving difficult without covering up the tracks way in front of the tunnel entry. The Tunnel Decal thingy which makes a transparent hole so you can see through the scenery only seems to be able to be placed flat on the ground and I can't see anyway of tilting it vertically so I can see the tracks through the tunnel entrance.
Any Ideas much appreciated. Tunnel building seems pretty tricky.
Thanks and regards James.

Re: Twin Track Tunnels
Hi, just a quick point, you will only see through the tunnel after you have saved the alterations. The tunnel decal seems to punch a hole in the terrain surface only when you save.
When I used the decal, It layed flat against the terrain surface even if that was already at an incline. I swung round quite a bit viewing from all sides to get it as close to the terrain as possible, and also to fit the tunnel track roof profile. It did overlap the tunnel profile though, but the resulting little holes were covered up by the tunnel front.
I put the tunnel front on last of all, after a save. The tunnel decal, if you look closely, has a fine yellow border line, and you should be able to pull the decal into better shape by clicking and dragging on that. There are supposed to be dragging tabs on it, but I found it difficult to get spot on!
Hope this helps.

Re: Twin Track Tunnels
Thanks. Now it makes sense I only tried in on level terrain. So from what you say it will follow the terrain as it slopes up and covers the tunnel entrance. Great stuff.
One more problem to solve now is how to separate the terrain from following the grid so I can cover my entrances which are at a 45 degree angle from the terrain grid.
Thanks again and regards James.
