Re: re installing rpk files
RPK files are the compressed files that contain addons for Rail Simulator such as extra rolling stock, routes, objects or scenarios. Use the following method to install them.
1. Double click on the RPK file you want to install.
2. When the box asking what program you wish to use to open the file pops up, use the browse button to navigate to the PackageManager.exe The Default path for this will be C/Program Files/Rail Simulator/Packager/PackageManager.exe
3.Tick the little box to allways use this program to open this type of file.
4. Next tme you want to install any RPK file you will simply have to double click on it and it will install automatically.
5.If you find that you do not have a folder called Packager in your Rail simulator folder then you must download the development tools from the RS site and install them. Once they have been installed the relevant Packager folder will be in the root directory of Rail Simulator.
Hope that helps.
