Unpacking scenarios

Post by electric »

What program do you need.

The one I'm currently trying to sort out is the oxford-padd scenario (file ID 17888). It's downloaded as an RPK file

Many thanks

If you download (from railsimulator.com) one of the addon locos it should install a program called package manager as part of it - this should appear on your start menu, you can then run this program to unpack the .rpk files.
Hope that helps

You could permanently associate the .rpk files with package manager - would auto open then.

Hi,
I have installed the Paddington HST Scenario and all my Routes are still present although it did move the Paddington Route from the top to the bottom of the list that you select the Route you wish to use. Are the 4 Default Route folders still there in C:\Program Files\Rail Simulator\Content\Routes assuming you installed KRS in the default location.

I have exactly the same problem. The other routes are missing from routes.xml file. I plan to edit file from a backup.

Was this just with the Paddington HST Scenario installed?

I have Bath and Paddinington only. Haven't had time to look at it since.
