Virgin Pendolino - York to London Kings Cross activity help please,

Ive installed all the files for this activity (File ID : 17544 ) but i keep getting a couple of error messeges...

Not sure what exactly is causing the errors, but it looks like you need to check the installation of an RES Class 90, and some Class 47 sounds.

Hi, I has these problems too, you need to make sure you have the sound file downloaded, and put into common.sounds, and make sure the sound line on the eng file is correct (it says what it should be on the read me file of the sound download)

To get rid of the line 191 error, go into the Class 90017_RES.eng file and go to line 191, this said unit (5) on mine, I changed it to unit (0), then it will give another error, all of the error lines are ones that say either unit(5) or unit(4), i just changed them all to unit(0). It seems to be working fine, not sure of the impact of changing these, but my activity is now running fine.

It looks like the engine file is set up to run using the Bin patch - if you try to run it without Bin you will get these errors, as the original MSTS cannot handle the additional light functions. I'd recommend you install Bin, rather than edit the engine file, as the benefits are enormous.

I suspect the readme with the download would have warned you about this, but I don't read all the readmes either.
