Re: No CD hack/fix
Officially no.
Unofficially, do a search of some of the more "suspect" websites and you'll no doubt find what you're after.

As such a link would be to software that is not legit (not to mention contrary to forum rules) please do not post one here.

I always thought this type of discussion was against forum rules so perhaps this thread should be deleted?ashgray wrote:As such a link would be to software that is not legit (not to mention contrary to forum rules) please do not post one here.

Re: No CD hack/fix
If it makes you Mods happy then delete it, and thanks to all who replied pointing me in the right direction, hardly causing any harm tho just trying to save the hassle of putting the dvd in every time i want to use railsim

Perhaps I could suggest a possible scenario to explain why this is not the case.....hardly causing any harm tho just trying to save the hassle of putting the dvd in every time i want to use railsim
Someone posts a link to where a hack can be obtained that contravenes the licence agreement every Rail Simulator user has agreed to (remember the question asking if you agree to the terms and conditions?). Electronic Arts are now at liberty to take action against Atomic Systems for promoting the violation of the licence agreement. EA wins....Atomic loses....UKTrainSim closes down. No harm done!

I agree, It's because I didn't post any link.
There are alternative ways to share this kind of delicate information.

And PMs via this forum should never be one of them. Mods can this thread be locked or deleted please?Reppo wrote: I agree, It's because I didn't post any link.

Re: No CD hack/fix
I think we need to calm ourselves down a little, if you actually read my post i asked if anybody had any links (to enable me to run some software, which i have paid for without having to insert the dvd every time - just like you could with msts) i didn't request any copies of any software or commercial add-ons to be sent to mestewart wrote:And PMs via this forum should never be one of them. Surely what i do with my own software on my own pc is up to me and if you can't suggest where i can find what i'm after then why bother wasting my time as well as your by replying?
