Derek, a question...
Once RSDL release some patch to fix this problem...How does we can replace the 2d junction section with 3d sleepers junction section?

I want to start with my route as soon as possible.

Don't you worry about how, we will try to make it as painless as possible.

The 3D sleeper fix for junctions will not be in the first patch.

but it is on our list for the second one.

Thanks Peter and Kevin

Derek or RS Team,
The 3d sleepers are simple to set up, they are just have population geometry, see doc 4.06 Procedural lofted geometry.pdf

Could you be more specific? What section of document 4.06?
After reading again and again, and tried everything that come to my mind, I never succeed in seing those sleepers or Ties by using loft Bllueprint.

And my 3D sleepers in Scenery Blueprint are always moving when I make a junction, creating a big Gap in Sleepers between the track and junction.

No news about 1° and 3° of this post: http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... 57#p933457

Will this be in the second patch?

I am a bit disapointed as this is a major feature in track designing and route making.

Is it possible to make standard sections of tracks as in MSTS?

Cheers

Hi GenesisMan

Would you mind writing your posts in plain black in the future? Whilst the colours look very nice it's not so easy on the eye, especially the yellow text :P

Many thanks,

Would have to agree with Gary and say that coloured text is very hard to read ;)

You need to read section 2.5 of document 4.06. The sleeper uses the middle geometry option of the loft.

Pointwork does not support 3D sleepers at the moment, and you will need to wait for a future patch before this happens.

Also, fishplates are not necessary on welded tracks. Better remove them from rail texture, it just doesn't fit to concrete sleepers and Pandrol ties.
Ideally, we should be able to pick and choose sections that use either 60' panels, cwr, or both, so yes we should keep fsihplates as an option in the sim.
They would be better if they represented sections of the most common length of 60' though, on wooden sleepers with elastic spikes in my eyes...

There is a really useful resource on British Railways track and fixings here:-

Does appear to be an automatic translation. However it almost surely is not originally spanish. The grammar would be all wrong.

Ivanps: Can you tell us what your original language is? Maybe someone on the forum can translate for you.

If looking from his posts (and posted picture name), he's probably Czech or Slovak. As some of forumers are from slavic countries, he could try in native language (I can understand some). Or German.

so, ehm... in short (cuz my english is bad):

Hi! I need help with 3D sleepers. I'm making in compliance with manual 4.05, but track and balast aren't visible.

It's all. I am sorry, but rest of this post is untranslatable for me 0X
