Messed up scenario, how to reinstall.

Damn game!

Why is there no option to "Quit Without Saving" when editing a scenario? Absolutely unbelieveable that this option was not provided.

Anyway, as a result, I've completely screwed up the S&D free play scenario. Is it possible to reinstal just that scenario and how do I do it?

Even the scenarios in the game folders don't have understandable names, just some poorly thought out bunch of numerals. What the heck were the designers' thinking?

Let me have two or more saving options that save in words, not in numerals, so that I can save, recall and edit scenarios in the language of my choice.

Basic choices should have been: -

"Quit Without Saving"?

"Save As"

"Save"

Then be asked the question: -

"Do you want to overwrite the previously saved file? Y/N"

So simple and so basic to any game, why did they not do it?

I thought this too, but apparently they are following good programming guidelines and it makes installing addons easier. You should find the other thread on this somewhere, probably buried deep now.

Personally, good programming practice or not, I think its incredibly confusing

If you run RS in windowed mode you can quit without saving, but as you say, why it can't be done in full screen I don't know

I have this same problem, with an HST spawned sideways across the tracks at green park, with the power car and standard class on the track fine, but the buffet, first clas and the other PC are all spawned at the same point, one inside the other (if that makes sense) at 90' to the stuff on the rails. When clicked, if I try to delete or move it, the game exits and I get Send/Don't send. May end up reinstalling, but would be interested to hear of a cure
