Need some help understanding the blueprints for making your own engines, coaches and wagons? Here's a good place to start.

Sadly, I have none of the skills necessary to work out how to write exporters etc.

I'm afraid the picture was my idea of trying to present the model in a "different way".

It was a bit of paint program trickery with a MSTS model export :-

Thanks for the comments, by the way. :)

Will need to check the chimney. It's certainly spot on to the plans. Will be easy to change if it becomes necessary.

I think the Chimbley looks about right. The fact of the matter is, that unless you are looking at a specific engine, you can't say definitively whether it's right or wrong. 3F's were produced over 60 years or so, and each batch was slightly different.

Looking forward to it, kev!

Kev,

what are you planning to do about the Cab? Will you simply alias to the 7F, or do we have a nice surprise in store?

Cheers,

Mike

No surprises, I'm afraid, (well not at the moment).
My first aim is to get the thing working in RS. (roll on November!).
Not saying I may not attempt one in the future, though.

Any chance of seeing it released in MSTS too for those who favour it?
