fine scale

The MSTS 1 Route Editor can be a beast to use, but it's capable of some amazing results, here you can talk with the wizards that are building some of the fantastic routes available and learn how to make your own.

Have any members got any comments good or otherwise to make on the U.K.finescale download which was kindly made available at this site aome weeks ago.
I myself layed a few sections of track on my test creation route and it appeared satisfactory.

Yes, it's great! I created the Airedale route with it. The UK Finescale forum is the place for comments and suggestions...

I am currently building my route, without the UKFs track, but now V2 is out I am looking into a revision of the route. Or a re-build.

But I think I'll plod on and finish it as it is, about 40 Hours of work.

The track takes time to learn, but that comes with using it.

UKFS is loads better than the origional track in terms of UK routes.

The only real issue I have seen is that some stock has been built with over-wide bounding boxes and trains can collide on adjacent tracks. If you reduce the X axis of the bounding box of the offending loco/vehicle all is well. You can see the bounding box of any object in the sim by pressing ctrl and +

Pete,

If you mean "can I replace track shapes in an (hitherto non-ukfs) existing route with ukfs sections", then the answer is "No".

The geometry and shape numbering are different.
