I have to say the first shot is superb, and not just because of the loco featured........! The rest don't look bad either! :D

Excellent - like the winter scenes the most.
Which route is the Ivatt tank shot taken on by the way?

They did indeed, took a couple of hours at least to choose the stock, routes, resizing etc!

What's the engine in the antepenultimate shot? Looks like a mishmash of various engine types, and I've never seen anything like it before. Kind of cute though, just what my model railway needs at the moment... :P

Do you mean the little tank? 060 with external cylinders?

I assume skinnylinny by saying penultimate, you mean the B12 4-6-0, introduced by Edward Thompson to the LNER, which were still being built after nationalisation?

The final shot is a GWR (designed) Manor class loco 7820 "Dinmor Manor" mixed traffic engine (5MT) which was also made after Nationalisation.

The one before the B12 is a BR (ex LMS) 2F dock tank.

They are all really good models.

I think you meant 'prepenultimate' (second from last - 'antepenultimate' would mean it's the last shot)?. If it's the shot of the tank engine in the snow, this is a Fowler LMS 2F Dock Tank ('Beetlecrusher') - it looks a bit like a squashed Jinty :D . Only 10 were built, they were designed for shunting on dockside lines which had sharp curves. The one in the shot is from the BATS LMS Tank Engines add-on - more pics on this thread http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... &start=111.

Minitrix made an N gauge model in the 1970s/80s (a collector's model now). As few UK prototype models were available in the scale at the time, every layout had one!
K's made a whitemetal kit for 4mm/00 around the same time which is no longer made. Currently 'Mercian Models' produce a kit in several scales http://www.modelrailways.tv/standard_gauge/mainline.htm - assembling that valve gear looks like quite a task though :-?

cheers
