I can get you a few side on shots of the tanks, then you could take it from that colour if you want Tim?

I have to say, I find that matching colours from photos often dosn't work - the variations in lighting that are almost unavoidable in photos makes it hard to find the "true" shade.
Also, I find that colours often appear lighter in the sim than they do in PSP...or is that just me?

Still great news about Gelert Tim, look forward to seeing it released. :)

Hey Guys,

I am certainly looking forward to Downloading her, she has to be one of my favorite Tank loco's on the Welsh highland Railway.
I wonder if they are going to rebuild her sister loco at the welsh highland would certainly be nice seeing them both in multi pull.

Many thanks

Nah, they'll never restore 'Moel Tryfan' too mutch work for somthing that's already essentially there, and also there are many other locos that will take priority over it.

In my experience getting those sort of dark colours to work in MSTS takes a lot of experimentation and colour mixing. The end result often depends on how the end user's monitor colours are setup, thus what looks right on the builder's machine looks quite different/wrong on another. Different people's colour perception varies a lot, too.

IIRC from when I tested this on the SPTS project the colour was about right, as Gelert is painted Prussian blue at the moment, the colour almost looks black in some lights.

Look forward to seeing this on general release!

TalyllynNut here and I would like to know if anyone has wanted to do the other WHR engines that are operating on the Porthmadog-Beddlegert line.
