Who would like Tim to extend the ECML on this route or extend it by putting branch lines in.

Why not wait until we see what's in V1 before going on about what we want Tim to do in V2. He deserves a break! It will probably take a while to get bored with V1, according to Tim and the Beta testers.

Plan is- i am going to take a break, the best part of 8-9 months solid went into this one and its a little bigger than the old route, matt first said that if I was going to release an updated CD then we should give everyone a substantial upgrade!
The screenshots you have seen are really only scratching the surface of whats on the route and its physical size, it took alan S a week to find his way around for the activities and he still hasnt found everything yet.
I'll be taking a short break now from route building whilst I give my mouse fingers time to regenerate!
I will make an announcement at some point should the route be extended more.

LOL! Well done Tim. I bet you're pleased as punch that it's over for a little while. Now you have time to actually drive a few trains up and down it.
And as for the Up and Down stuff... yes it definitely is UP towards London and DOWN towards Doncaster. I know this because I'm very knowledgable about these sort of things...

See the Up and Down thread in the General Discussion forum for more on this subject.

Up and down
Yep, London is always 'up'. But the question is, when leaving March heading towards Peterborough, are you going up or down.....?
Lost your love of life? Too much apple pie!

Believe me, when you receive your copy of this route you'll be as happy as a pig in sh!t for many months. There is so much track to explore and so many possibilities for activities that I can't see anyone getting bored for at least 6 months (and that's assuming you don't drive any other routes).

Extending the mid-east route
Hi all,
Firstly thanks to Tim for his previous routes, (I've got the lateast on order and am eagerley awaiting its delivery.)
I Know im probably jumping the gun , just a little......................
But In the distant future when the latest upgrade(s) have been done, will you be going north from Doncaster, and if so which route will you be creating, Via Colton or Via Selby...................My vote is definatley for the latter
Once again thanks for everybodies hard work it is all greatly appreciated
Cheers
Ollie

Are you still laying track then Tim? I'm impressed... would you like to have a job as manager on my Railroad Tycoon 2 game please... I'm getting sick of running out of money just as the track gets near the next major town...
Anyway, Alan mentioned that there may not be the stock list on the CD. Can you confirm what's going to be on the CD please as I don't want to start deleting stock here if I don't have to. Thanks.
