If you 'lose' scenery, go and look in the world folder. Every .w tile has a backup, just remove the .w file to a safe place and rename the .k file to a .w file and your objects will be rstored.

But to do this you need to know the tile number whih you can find by moving over the tile in RE.

How often are you saving your work in each session? You should do it after placing every couple of track sections. Then after each session do a backup of your work so if you do get a corruipt route you have limited the damage. You should also test drive each track area after a building session to make sure the sim is happy with it.

It's been a while since I've been in RE :(

I think you need to select F7 in RE which gives you the tile grid. Move he camera up to quite high altitude and move around. Somewhere on one of the small tool windows is a tile number, expressed as two sets of digits, something like 11404 6136 or something similar. It is the same number fomat as the tile files in the World folder. This number will change as your camera passes across tile boundaries. If that isn't it I will check again tonite (at work now) and confirm.
